Welcome!

Thank you for taking the time to visit our web site.  Onley Baptist Church is a vibrant and friendly Southern Baptist Church, located at 25501 West Main Street in the town of Onley, on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.  I have had the privilege to Pastor this wonderful group of people since January 2000 and have seen God do many exciting things during this time.

I want to personally invite you to join us for worship at Onley Baptist Church.  Don't worry about what to wear.  Whether it is blue jeans or a coat and tie, you will fit in and feel welcome.  We seek to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth as we study His word and apply it to our everyday lives.

We have Equip Bible Study each Sunday morning from at 9:00 a.m.  There is Coffee/Fellowship Time at 10:30 a.m. and our Worship Service starts at 10:30 a.m.  Sunday Evenings from 5-7:00 P.M., we have Kidz Alive Children and Studentz Ministry.  On Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m., we have an Equip Bible Study also."  If you have any questions after surfing this site, please feel free to contact us.  I look forward to seeing you this Sunday!

Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.
